Pittsburgh City Council OKs parcel sales to Downtown developer
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08024/851813-53.stm
So congratulations to Pittsburgh City Government for handing it's taxpayers a $4.17 million dollar loss on this sale to Millcraft Industries. This doesn't even begin to take into account the notion of illegitimate activity by city government in the form of a city government banking and real estate masquerade. For those who cry collusion (which is what people will say so they can still defend government spending in general) when has the URA and the city successfully brokered a deal which has ever really benefited the region economically?
